Mud House
Overlooking the valley painted in green with endless mountains to the furthest the eye could reach. A three storied mud house stood tall contrasting and blending at the same time with the surrounding.
On the ground floor as one enters the building is the bath room. A spacious, earthy space with beautiful view. The bathtub made of mud plastered oxide finish, terracotta tiles and bamboo cloth hanger.
Warm and cosy little bedroom on the first floor with handmade bamboo cot, woven bamboo roof with pillars. Large glass window that let the landscape connect with changing light through the day. Building facing east with breath taking sunrise each morning.
Open to a vast mountain landscape with changing hues each hour. This space was a creative corner. Spread your yoga mat and take a deep breathe, doodle your mind out, read a long passage, write your thoughts or a novel, compose music, listening to a calming raga or just let your inner child explore and do nothing but watch the mountain and spot birds chirping around. This space had it all.
